Donate Instruments to the Preservation Hall Foundation
Do you have a new or gently used instrument that could use a new life? Rather than taking up space in your closet or attic, that trombone, trumpet, clarinet, saxophone, drums, and other musical instrument can find a new life with a young aspiring musicians in the Preservation Hall Foundation. You could spot your old instrument in a future second line or Mardi Gras parade!
The students in our Preservation Hall Junior Jazz Band, who attend our weekly classes, often do not have the resources or means to own their own instruments. We welcome the donation of anything that can help in our mission. In addition to donated musical instruments, we can also use musical accessories (slide oil, reeds, etc), school supplies, and musical software.
Donations are tax deductible and support the Preservation Hall Foundation’s mission to protect, honor, and perpetuate Traditional New Orleans Jazz, strengthening the sense of community, music, family and culture that are an inseperable part of New Orleans and Preservation Hall.
